Welcome in. Take a load off, brew that fresh coffee. Smell that fresh fall air swirling and surrounding.

Tap into another message directly shared through the written word, originating from the source.

Every piece I share has NO agenda… there isn’t some fabricated schedule paired with thoughts like “I need to write a cool inspirational piece that is likeable and good.”

It just comes through. As I simply choose to write (with no topic pre-chosen) - perspective channels into something bite-sized for you all.

As you may have noticed, a positive and uplifting voice always comes through to conclude each piece. I suppose this is where it’s all headed… Thanks for being here and coming along for the journey.

Quick Update:

Taking a 3-week-hiatus to step away from screens, reset, enjoy a family wedding and an epic Pacific Northwest Trip with Molly. Expect the next edition in 3 weeks.

Soul-Scribed Essay

Live Multiple Lives

You know anyone that replays the same lifestyle, over and over, to the point that they seemingly believe that they will never age, or die?

For example, these folks may think “If I just keep doing ‘x’ (partying, traveling, raving, nomading, no strings attached single life, etc), I can soak it all up forever!” Pretty much anyone connected to any social scene in high school, college, or beyond knows someone like this.

It’s somewhat trippy (for me personally), to see folks I used to know and see everyday, living a life from my past. This was basically partying, chasing girls, ego-focused lifestyle - trying to be the “cool guy.” Ever seen the movie American Psycho? Remember the scene where they all share business cards and try to one-up the others? That was that life in a nutshell.

I will say, it does make me feel for those who aren’t able to break through and find more to life than what “is cool” or “acceptable” by their urban tribe’s ever-present social pressure. To level the playing field and clarify - I am NOT coming here to judge, or talk down to anyone. Rather, I am sharing this with you from an observational point of view. I am simply here to call it as it is, objectively. (I suppose that’s why you’re here reading - for honest human opinions that share perspective without an agenda).

Likewise, from an objective view, life is about consistent change. Take a quick glance at the elements of Mother Earth - the seasons (spring - fall, and all between). We, like the environment around us, are designed for change. Let’s accept that, so we can carry on accordingly and live our most meaningful lives.

We literally crossed fall this past week! Change is upon us! Accept that righteous change, and be blessed.

As such, let’s carry on to this - through honest honoring of change (like the previous issue from a couple weeks ago - “honor thy process”), we expand our life’s territory to many biomes. https://news.chollaatme.com/p/honor-thy-process

Let’s look at our lives from a metaphorical view of different habitats - jungles, coastal seas, forests, etc. For us as humans, we do NOT have to reside in one ecosystem forever, like the forest or desert! We can live in the coastal seas, swing to the foresty jungles, and back to the homegrown roots of temperate grasslands - all in one life.

Thus, the theme of this issue: Live Multiple Lives.

We can live multiple lives by adjusting our view of daily life (in gratitude) by letting go of versions of ourselves that NO longer serve growth, and longevity. Go deeper, and understanding what “serves growth” requires an honest PAUSE, and honest reflection. No time for games or gimmicks, get right to the point and shed light on all corners of your life.

Engage with simple questions like:

  • Do I even like what I do with my friends, or do I even really vibe with the group?

  • Do my heart and soul crave for more? (can be anything)!

  • Is there an insatiable curiosity about certain (new) people I meet, who happen to be very different from my current friends?

  • Have I found myself passively (or actively) pulling away from “what I used to love,” and unsure the underlying reason why?

These are some real gut-checks. Ask them with honorable openness and be fascinated by what you may find.

[If this isn’t relevant or you’re genuinely good with who you’re surrounded by - no worries! This is just a humble offering of exercising that reflection muscle].

Driving from this position of self-truth awareness, we can let go of the old, and make space for new. In the Tao Te Ching, one powerful except sums this up so beautifully: “If a room is empty, it is useful.” EXACT.

Clear out the clutter, those old action heroes that don’t hit anymore - and watch with grace what can be built anew.

There is a new life, awaiting you. Time is the ultimate reference, we can do our best to bend to its will. We are not immortal; however, we can fill our cup multiple times over with the commitment and courage to create anew. How exciting!!

Let me share a bit from me and mine - to extend valuable context as to why I am speaking about this to you today.

In my life, I sprang up into a jock athlete/party boy, leading to fraternity college life, learning much needed depth when popping over to Sweden to study, then bouncing to Denver deploying a corporate mask while raving (partying more). After the “big-boy” job disappeared, I became a kavatender, Door-to-door salesman, world traveler - now to RV-lifer with my beautiful fiancée and our first home soon to be. Yet, I only feel like I’m getting started!

There are many lives layered here. Again, for objective fairness I am NOT saying that this is the way for all humans. I am not a preacher. Rather, I’m laying down a potential pathway for perspective and understanding that is available to all, who are willing to seek for more from our lives.

Life truly is what you make it! I’m here as a young man (with an old soul) to encourage your confidence to be who you are called to be. A lot of the time, it isn’t the first one to five identities we try on - it takes some true digging to find it. That’s where the seeking comes into play.

But, I know intuitively that pushing past your personal boundaries leads to the deepest love - the most powerful energy in the universe - and to new pathways (new lives).

Walk steady, and stay ready. Blaze your trail, the world needs your gifts!
